The 3 months Tea Management & Tea Tasting course shall contain:

Our 3 months' Tea Management and Tea Tasting course is designed to give fresher’s an insight about tea in detail. In this course you will be introduced to tea with its history of discovery. Through this course every student will be educated about:

  2. Components of Tea from root to shoot
  3. Handling of Tea Seeds and raising nurseries
  4. Methods of propagation of Tea
  5. The importance of pruning
  6. Standards of plucking with relation to the quality of tea
  7. Harvesting and its types
  8. Silviculture
  9. Soil science and its conservation
  10. Integrated nutrient management
  1. Methods of fertilizer application
  2. Irrigation and drainage systems
  3. Drought management in tea
  4. Integrated pest management
  5. Spray techniques
  6. Biochemistry of tea
  7. Tea processing machineries
  8. Manufacturing of different teas
  9. Tea Tasting (Organoleptic Evaluation of Tea)
  10. Blending of teas
  11. Tea Marketing

Our 3 months' Tea Management course focuses on all areas of tea making from plantations, factories, warehouses, auction houses, marketing, tea tasting, tea blending, tea packaging, to every little aspect in tea. This course is designed for freshers who aspire to be a part of the tea industry and are open to experience the plantation and factory life. This course gives you an eagle eye view of the tea industry as a whole and gives you a head start in your journey of being an asset to the tea industry.

Placement facilities after completing 3 months Tea Management course:

Every assistance will be provided to the students who have successfully completed the course and examination criteria from our Tea Academy.

The students are given placements as a Trainee Assistant in the Factory or Field in the set gardens or in Bought Leaf Factories.

They are also given placements in the Tea Broker offices, Tea Companies (Tea Auction Buyers Office), Tea Warehouses and Tea Blending Units.
